The Town Hall is located on County Route 51, approximately 1 mile west of Route 9W. The Town Clerk's Office is located at the Town Hall. Certified copies of birth/death certificates, copies of zoning laws and ordinances, hunting and fishing licenses, and dog licenses are available at the Clerk's Office.
The Town Board holds its regular monthly meeting on the 2nd Monday and a work session on the 4th Monday. These meetings begin at 7:00 pm, are held at the Town Hall, and are open to the public.
The Planning Board meets on the second Thursday of the month.

Reminder for Sewer District #1 Residents
There will be flushing of manholes in Sewer District #1 on Wednesday, October 29 beginning at 9AM.
Town of New Baltimore Seeking a Sexton
The Town of New Baltimore is currently seeking a Sexton to manage the routine operations of cemeteries owned by the Town of New Baltimore to be paid $125 per grave opening, $125 cremains internment, and $25 Monument Permit Review per standard graves. The successful candidate shall be responsible for compliance with all laws, rules and regulations involving labor, hours of labor, health and safety, and working conditions and shall be solely responsible for payment of all federal, state, and local taxes.
Water District 2 Public Information Session with Mary Beth Bianconi from Delaware Engineering
There will be a public information session with Mary Beth Bianconi from Delaware Engineering for residents of Water District 2 regarding an update to the water main replacement project. It will be held Wednesday, October 29 at 7 PM at Town Hall, 3809 County Route 51 in Hannacroix.

Upcoming Meetings
Grievance Day is scheduled for Wednesday, May 25th from 4pm-8pm at the New Baltimore Town Hall. This is a chance to contest your Assessment in front of the Board of Assessment Review (BAR) for the Town. By law, this is your right as a property owner to attend this hearing. If anyone wishes to contest their assessment, they must call the Assessor's Office ahead of time and make an appointment on Tuesday from 9:00am - 2:00pm and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am - 1:00pm. Please call 518-756-7888 ext 8, to schedule your appointment. The Assessor will also require that you bring your paperwork in prior to the hearing. Walk-in are welcome, each taxpayer will be able to speak and state their case to the BAR for a period of 5-10 minutes. The BAR will then discuss and make a decision on the Grievance at a later date. As always, in you have any questions regarding your assessment, please do not hesitate to contact the Assessor's Office.
